I actually think Auburn will be a top 10 team if they can beat Dabo early. Alabama is going to kick their arse and I think LSU is going to beat them too. Stidham looks really good but I am not convinced they are playoff quality just yet.

Okay, so here it goes as an AU guy. I feel like the battered spouse regarding the QB situation at AU. Get hopes up, get beat down, but still love the team. Wash and repeat.
So that being said, I will not get my hopes up again. It is the way of the FB program that something will happen to Stidham. Snowboard Cam comes in and gets hurt on the third play. Then we revert to the whirlybird fb pass for an INT. True freshman comes in, we go with the RPO offense and go 7-5. Woody Barrett announces transfer by 4 game of season.

auburn played a lot tougher last year (meaner before people misunderstand me)
if they can keep that mean streak and execute they will do well this season

Exactly. About all you can tell from a spring game is how well can a QB throw and how well can receiver catch. But even there you've got to remember they're probably facing about as base of a defense as possible.
