Just mentioning 29-0 has brought out so much PTSD. I might actually hit a record for down votes without a single Upvote. LSU won fair and square. Congrats on this seasons success.
Just simply pointing out that 50-7 is a rarity between two major programs and was unexpected even from a neutral observer. It is not something that occurs often. I think the revenge factor added an additional dynamic to the game. With the way Aggy is recruiting, I don't expect a repeat of that for a while.

Bama will still be stacked at almost every position. Defense will be better. Offense obviously not as explosive but OLine should be very good again and Bama has won many games with average to above average QB play. Bama will be a tough team to beat next year.

That's one heck of a post. Spot on and very true. Going forward I expect Bama will be very good most years with a every 2-3 year shot at a NC, until Saban hangs it up. Then it will depend on the hire, there will be 2 years after he leaves that the roster should still be excellent.

LSU is recruiting lights out. The facilities and how O had implemented sports science with nutrition & analytics has been genius. He’s so much smarter than ppl give him credit for. He’s using innovative techniques like performance analytics to adjust practice techniques has been huge. He has assembled one of the best staffs in America. I know better to count out Nick Saban but this is no fluke LSU isn’t going anywhere
