Just mentioning 29-0 has brought out so much PTSD. I might actually hit a record for down votes without a single Upvote. LSU won fair and square. Congrats on this seasons success.
Just simply pointing out that 50-7 is a rarity between two major programs and was unexpected even from a neutral observer. It is not something that occurs often. I think the revenge factor added an additional dynamic to the game. With the way Aggy is recruiting, I don't expect a repeat of that for a while. :cheers:

Bama waxed that arse 29-0 in Tiger Stadium and then lost 46-41 the following year. If it can happen to us it can happen to anyone. It is tough to stay at the top and a lot happens over a year.
Usually match ups return back to the normal after a blowout win by one side due to roster turnover etc. It looked like A&M had nothing left in the tank and shot their wad @ Georgia (pun intended). I don't think the team believed they had a shot.
Burrow is a once in a generation QB and the best player in college football. LSU has been very fortunate to have him fall in their lap as a transfer and the perfect storm come together this year. It looks like they are that effing team this year to go win it all. Expecting a tighter contest between LSU & A&M next year at Kyle field.The best games for me and my health are the ones I am not emotionally involved in. Should be a fun contest for years to come.
Hopefully the Tide can bounce back and give LSU hell as well. :cheers:

Yes. Yes they can. Will they? Doubtful. Depends on the weather, luck, and scheme. The athletes are there though from what I have seen.
