Tyler Simmons says hello. Just for the time reference, that was 9 years ago.
Great point.
The difference is that UGA has lost more times to Alabama since the 2017 national championship game.
Bama has a new excuse trumpeted and repeated for every loss to UGA since 2021. The last 4 days are direct evidence.

What is your point with this? Are you trying to say this was an easy win? You were able to take a knee because our corner gave you the first down after he lost his composure.

The WHOLE point is that Bama fans only agree it’s a bad call if it goes AGAINST their team, and thus blame the refs
Pretty much what the majority of any fan base would do. Why does this bother you?

As I said, it could have gone either way. That was a tough one.

Yes, including the quote out of context is a sure way to make a point. You, like many other UGA fans need to let it all go. It is now Wednesday. Sorry you continue to feel abashed.
Holy smoke I thought we were done here. Another day and you’re still replying to a comment that’s eating you alive! Take your own advice and move on, it’s a two way street. Be the change you want to see in the world. Let me guess, you believe in “do as I say, not as I do”?

Wrong. Plenty of Dawg fans agree it was a bad non-call (even the player who committed the should-be penalty). Bama fans are not able to admit a bad call when it goes FOR them! That’s the point of this whole thread! Hypocrisy!!!

The play in the OP was called correctly. Peterson's foot was in bounds, but the ball was not.
Most people miss that detail - including Alabama fans. And those Alabama fans usually say it was an interception. Because if you ignore the ball being touched by Julio and only focus on Peterson, he was in bounds with possession.
I think it's telling the OP had to go back 17 years for that call.

Why are you so angry? Which bad call went against UGA that we would deny was a bad call or missed call?

Didn’t read, but you should probably move on.

It’s not about me, my team won. We’re not complaining about the refs.

I don't have a problem with them being upset. It was PI. It was a facemask. It was targeting.
They did miss some penatlies they should have called against Alabama too, but I'm a straight shooter. They likely wouldn't have had as large an effect on the game as the ones that didn't go Bama's way.
That said, the above is the difference. When they've gotten favorable calls like that in the past (as you demonstrate in your clip) they'll never act like it had one thing to do with the outcome or could've changed the game. And they've had more of that happen for them over the past 20 years than the rest of us.
Not saying they bought the refs or anything like that. Some of it is when your program is that elite refs side with you often. UGA may be benefitting from some of that now.
I understand their outrage. I'd feel the same way. But empathy, sympathy, or whatever you wanna call it? No way. I choose to laugh at their misery. Karma sometimes isn't spread over seasons or games. Sometimes it comes at you all at once.

The issue is they don’t think they benefited from calls during saban. If they admitted that, then they’d have to admit this is just what happens when they’re no longer the darling

That's what I said in the post.

Lol a guy in the other thread just trolling when someone brings up the unnecessary roughness on Murray. They don’t remember it, they remember the wins. Thats the bottom line.
