It was an interception.
LSU would’ve had to drive down and score a TD against a very good defense with a bad QB.
A FG doesn’t win the game, and the interception doesn’t put you in FG range.
The real screw job was over-turning the Interception Stockton threw to #36 at the UGA 16 yard line on the drive they proceeded to drive 86 yards for what turned out to be the game-winning FG.
Both #36 and Pat Peterson plays were interceptions 100%

I think we can all agree refing needs to improve. Good game, looks to be an exciting year for the sec.

Agreed - they can certainly do better but unlike the mLB where they had to get robot umps - the human element will always be a thing in football and lots of calls are highly subjective. I just think if you have a bad ref night - there should be some type of accountability but there never is. In fact - you can have a ref crew completely dick you over and over everytime you get that crew and they will put them in your championship games. It's diabolical
