I’ve seen Garrett’s claim on every network and website. Heard it on every sports station.
Only on SEC Rant at the bottom of first page, do I find that the NFL has already called out the obvious lie.
“NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the league looked into Myles Garrett’s allegations that Mason Rudolph used a racial slur last Thursday night before the brawl “and found no such evidence.”

Saying no such evidence isn't saying he lied. It's literally saying they can't determine one way or the other.
As to whether it was actually said, I doubt we'll ever know for sure. Garrett was pretty much a low key geeky type in college, not your typical thug life 5*, so it's not easy for me to just dismiss it out of hand. But who knows what is going through someones mind when the court of internet idiot's its weighing in on how they think they know a guy from a 30 second segment of his life.
That and Mason grew up in a town that thought it was ok to send little black kids out to pick cotton as a school activity.
