Yes Ole Miss was a solid rival of Arkansas till the series was discontinued in the early 60's for fights and bad ones at that! They played the next year before discontinuing the series. In the last game before stopping the series ticket holders had to trade tickets if they were n the opposing teams areas! Yeah that bad! I remember being excited when we resumed in the early 80's.
Of course Texas was and prolly always be Arkys main rival just because of history. I always watched that game every year growing up. It was always on TV. Like Lsu Ole Miss, Michigan Ohio State, Oklahoma Nebraska and USC and Notre Dame were on every year in the 60's.
