Alabama could have made Mac’s stats whatever they wanted in both games. Did he even play in the 4th?

JT did not attempt a pass in the 4th quarter against Missouri.

I'm not one to bash Georgia, but this is false.

His father held him back in the 8th grade in hopes of giving him another year of high school football to develop.

He re-classified to his normal graduating class when he signed with USC.

JTD played well against the teams he played against. Not sure how you can say he's overrated by that measure. Plus, he gave a significant boost to our offense over the other guys we had at QB.

He might not be Joe Burrow but he stretches the field enough to let our running game do its thing, which makes us dangerous on offense again.

Who cares if his stats are similar to Mac. Both are against such bad comp that it tells us nothing.

You need an elite QB to win it all nowadays. UGA does not have one.

But you can’t say that we have enough data to determine that. He’s lit it up in every game so far that we needed him to. Short answer is we still don’t know if he’s legit or not.

Timing on the long ball needs some work, but he has every RB and WR coming back. He has a strong arm, so should be able to naturally fall into a rhythm with some reps over the entire offseason (was 3rd on depth last Jan - Oct)

Fair enough. We will find out early against Clemson. They return everyone on D

Help us out here. Are we supposed to give up ever winning a natty if we don't win it in '21 OR are we playing with an overrated QB and therefore shouldn't anticipate success next season at all? The rant needs to go ahead and define the criteria which "UGA fans" will be purported to have said all offseason on the way to our official Offseason Championship.

Is that a positive given their performance against OSU? It’s hard to gauge Clemsons defense given their lack of quality opponents. DJ U certainly looked the part against ND and Ross returns for them at WR.

I would be surprised if y’all move the ball effectively against that defense. Bryan breese is a man. NFL caliber corners.

Although I’ll be going for UGA

They got exposed against osu. Also, which top 10 team doesn’t have NFL corners? Being the first game of the season I have no clue what to expect. No one does if they’re being honest. Both teams have talent on offense and defense. I’d take UGA’s DL over Clemson’s. Clemsons secondary over UGA’s.

UGA's defense would not have done much better. You guys got run over by the 2 elite offenses you faced this season.

Damn shame his knee wasn’t ready to go vs bama and Florida. The plays were there.

Yeah but Bama would have played that game differently too.

Correct. They are not.

Those defenses were terrible all year.

Did better against Alabama than OSU’s.

Our walk on QB gave bama 3 extra possessions and we still held bama below their season average. UGA was missing half their defense against UF. UGA’s defense was much better than Clemsons.

Clemsons depth would be seriously exposed in the SEC. UGA has a better overall roster. No doubt.

He’s still getting healthy and growing. The fact he’d be a 3rd round pick right now isn’t a negative, especially compared to Stetson Bennett
