Agree with 1-7, but A&M too high.

I think it's too early, but I'll take a shot.

Top Four: Texas, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama

Next Four: Mizzou, Tennessee, LSU, Oklahoma

Next Four: A & M, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky

Last Four: South Carolina, Arkansas, State, Vandy
----------------

At least three of the top four make the playoff.

Mizzou's SEC schedule is so much easier than A & M's. Moving forward (and I'm not a Mizzou fan, BTW), I'd give them the nod over who A & M has to face. Also, there are three new HC's who amount to an X factor in 2024. A & M, Alabama and State have that to work through, no matter what happened before. Teams like Mizzou, Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss and LSU do not.

Pate’s power rankings aren’t 2024 predictions. They’re reflections of how good you’ve been and how much potential you have going forward

Then why is Missouri at number 10 and not higher up? Auburn is higher than Missouri. That doesn't make any sense on what you said.

Ranking State behind Arkansas is just flat lazy

OMG Florida at number 13. They lost four close games last year. If their starting QB had not been hurt they likely would have won their last 2.
