Sunbelt Billy did nothing more at UL-Lafayette than get them to the New Orleans Bowl. Coaching a Sunbelt team to bowl eligibility is not comparable to getting Tulane to the playoffs. Billy was out of his depth on day 1 at Florida.

USC / Raiders, he was an immature dick that pissed off the Admin and Owner so much that he was fired in the most inglorious ways possible. He was radioactive after his time at USC and people laughed at Al Davis and his projector until they realized he was right. Hell, even Lane would admit this.
Fresno State, I had no clue who he was back then.
You got a great coach, enjoy it. But don't go trying to pretend that he's classy.

What’d he do that was immature? Al Davis was an awful owner his last few decades alive.
