Why says he hasn't coached in a while?

He makes $6.5MM being an analyst for ESPN. Why in the world would he leave that Cushy job for a gritty job in the SEC? For most likely a lower salary?

He has said he wants to coach again. College football, regardless of what people here may want to believe, is easier than the NFL.

In terms of competition, of course, but there is so much more complexity to CFB. I think he’ll go NFL before any College teams. Although, I suppose maybe he’ll have to use CFB sad a stepping stone back into the league.

Today's sighting and subsequent grumors have not yet sated my appetite, but we are getting close.

And to think, we are still in the preseason of this coaching search. We already have some VOLS in midseason form.

VOL interneters are at their PEAK during coaching search season, especially the beginning of it when the GRUMORS are still in full effect.

Hell hath no fury like a VOL coaching search

Out of curiosity...if he were in Atlanta, would that mean he was talking to Georgia Tech about being their coach?

You guys love to be disappointed, don't you? He hasn't even insinuated he might be interested in coaching college.

Did he ever work at Georgia tech? Does he wear Georgia tech gear to games? Was his wife a cheerleader at Georgia tech? Do his children attend school at Georgia tech?

No?
