Should've went with Peter Dinklage.

Is this true? If I'm not mistaken their is no ncaa rule against it as long as it isn't announced ahead of time. Since it leaked out is it still within the rules?

Surprisingly, yes.

Blake Sims mimicked Trevor Knight before the aTm game.

Cal had none other than "Beast Mode" Marshawn Lynch running with their scout team in fall camp.

Marc Guillon was the better representation, but he was busy. That's what I heard.

Could always go with this dude in a pinch. He's a football coach, but he is at least two feet taller than Nick:

JPW was twice the QB Etling is. Etling has two options, a WR or dump it off to the RB

Wait - you mean our quarterback (who throws the ball) would have to, wait, PASS the ball to a wide receiver (who catches the ball)?

Or, he has to hand off the ball (or short-pass it) to our running backs, both of which have numerous long scoring runs starting behind the line of scrimmage? Said running backs having some of the best stats in the FBS?

And I guess all those long bombs to our newly-discovered TE passing game don't really count for anything....

Yep, I guess we're screwed, since our QB will only be able to throw the ball or hand it off.

Try again.

To be honest, LSU would have pulled a few more wins with ANYONE at the helm if Les would have opened up the offense like Coach O has.

Well, that, and if we'd actually played a pro-style QB in our pro-style offense.

I don't think we did. It's just that we don't normally see Bammers that are willing to actually poke fun at themselves by basically admitting that JPW was a turd they couldn't shine up (which they are saying is what Etling is).

Consider this, though: even if you accept that Etling is no better than JPW (which I don't), isn't it funny how we can take a QB that's no better than one of the worst ones the red horde fielded in recent memory - and actually start WINNING with him?

Bama went 12-0 in the regular season in 2008 with Wilson at QB.
