To Etling's defense the last fumple of the first half was on the coaches a bit. They are calling better plays but that wasn't a good one. A deep play fake with little time on the clock most DEs are not going to bite.
Nothing wrong with being aggresive and trying to score some more point but there are better playcalls for that situation.

I'm not going to blame Etling for that, but he still has few fumbles and has thrown some iffy picks.

JPW was a decente College QB, I don't get all the bashing. Bama didn't ask much from their QBs at the time, at least compared to other teams. Last couple of years LSU would have pulled a few more wins with him at the helm.
