DeAnthony Thomas ran a 10.64 yesterday for comparison.

Damn that is stupid fast. LSU has a 2012 commitment that ran a 10.35 yesterday, fastest time in the nation for a high schooler I believe. Wind aided, but not sure how much that matters, still impressive.

I think Tenn is the team that surprises the league next year.
Tenn will go as far as the defense takes them. The passing offense will be stout at least at the start of the year. Problem for Tenn is that they have not had the same success recruiting on defense.

Must not be familiar with AJ Johnson, Curt Maggitt, Brian Randolph, Daniel McCullers, or Darrington Sentimore.
But I do agree with your first point. Our year depends on our D. Not only that, but the running game as well.
People fail to realize we were ranked 28th in the nation in total defense last year, with the first three listed as true freshmen.

Not sure at the moment what his 100m time is, but he was Texas high school state champion in the 200m I believe. Think that was overall, not just his classification.

pretty fast for a guy that's 6'4 215lbs.
Wow!
I know there are some ifs (Hunter's knee, DaRick's head, Patterson's adjusting to the SEC) but UTenn has some of the best WR talent in SEC history.

Definitely a high ceiling. But with most things UT, it's a wait-and-see type of thing.

Defense wins in this league and UGA,UF and USC all are better. High flying offense to go 8-4, 7-5 at bes
I agree but I dont think our defense is that far behind. Your gonna be surprised by our defense this year and I believe we have made an upgrade in our D coordinator as well.

That's true. UT did hold Kentucky to 10 points.

Will be very interesting to see how the targets are divided up between Hunter/Rogers/Patterson.
I'm assuming based on WR talent you guys base formation will be a 3 WR set?

yes, the post spring depth chart included 3 recievers and no fullback.

Hunter tore his ACL in September. He's fully recovered already
no he isn't. There was an article last week about how his knee was bothering him some.

How long did you think it took an ACL to heal?
to fully recover? 1 1/2 to 2 years.

We actually have pretty good depth and talent at TE.

I'd say it's our deepest position after WR.

3 physical freaks at WR... People don't realize how good the incoming freshmen WRs are either.
