Henry will never have a game like McCaffrey had vs USC

McCaffrey rarely faces defenses in the same stratosphere as Henry, dude.

Quit being dense.

That's amazing. Henry breaking Hershel's record is amazing as well. They both deserve an invite to New York IMO.

If you still think McCaffrey deserves to win

No, he's deserving as anyone because he's the most versatile player in the game and has the numbers to back that up.

SEC defenses are so "good" because the SEC offense suck.

You've made excellent arguments about why Barry Sanders should win the Heisman because he had more yards than McCaffrey.

McCaffrey however has more yards than Henry from scrimmage...

Henry has 349 touches for 2,073 yards from scrimmage.

McCaffrey has 360 touches for 2,387 yards from scrimmage.

I think Henry's offensive line is better. Alabama has really excellent offensive lines that make good running backs look better than they are.

Henry is probably the third best running back by talent in the SEC behind Fournette and Chubb.

Do you know why SEC defenses look so good? Because the SEC has the worst offenses of any P5 conference.
Meh and the reason other offenses look so good is because they have crap defenses.

You put Henry on Stanford and McCaffrey on Alabama and I think that Henry has maybe 1400 yards and McCaffrey is over 2k.

Why would Henry suddenly lose 600 rushing yards when playing weaker competition in the Pac 12 with one of the nation's most efficient passers under center?

Alabama's OL isn't that great this year.

It's not. The SEC was mediocre this year. It's not any better than any of the P5 conferences.

I can use your same logic and say that Pac 12 offenses are so "good" because the Pac 12 defenses suck.

I would love to see how well Kenya Drake would do if he was in Stanford's offense.

It may be. But the P10 has much better QB play than the SEC, by far. That's why their offenses are better.

Fun Fact: Christian McCaffrey is so good that Barry Sanders is his backup.

And the SEC has much better defensive line and secondary play than the Pac 12, by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. That's why our defenses are better.

I'm down with that. But all this "he broke the record!" shite is insufferable.

You're extremely biased. SEC is nothing special this year.

That won't hold up if this post season is anything like the last.

Sorry I'm not letting one bad bowl season in ten cloud my perception of good football conferences.

I never said I was rooting for Henry. I just think his impact justifies him getting the award. Fan allegiance has nothing to do with worthiness and shouldn't affect any reasonable person's judgment.
