he seems to think this ruling means nothing in regards to what can possibly be discovered in the ongoing investigation. but this is a little step in the right direction. keep your heads up aubies!

I agree. NCAA ruling holds no water compared to the same story schad has published thrice.

And of cousre W&L's post. Who i've been told is a very reliable poster who is never wrong. Turn away fellow auburn fans, this ncaa ruling means nothing.

How could they possibly get more info damning Cam, though, considering how much has already come out? The water damaged cell phone, the recorded phone conversations, etc. What else could come out?

I put no stock whatsoever in his "reporting." We all know that he put his dick on the chopping block and all he can do right now is downplay and spin the ruling into how he sees fit.

Normally I'd agree with you cause I hate Joe Schad But... Most of what he's reported has been true, the NCAA verified as much in their statement today saying that eligibility rules were broken.

No Joe Schad is covering his arse, because of how he handled this story. He knows that his reporting tactics will be attacked by every other reporter. The lines are drawn, those who attacked Cam vs Those who waited for a ruling.

Schad is an idiot, I have farts that think better than he does.

Newton was reinstated by the NCAA because after their investigation of Auburn's recruitment of him nothing was found. It is "possible" something could be discovered it is very unlikely.

What Schad reported was true that Cecil attempted to shop his son. The NCAA said so themselves today.

Not sure what is hard to understand about that.

Has anything Schad reported been proven to be false?

Sounds pretty rational to me. Unless there are a few more water damaged cell phones floating around, it's hard to imagine any more big info coming down the pipeline. An absolute bomb would have to go off. Not ruling that out, just saying it's not likely.

The NCAA has already looked into Auburn's recruitment of Cam and found nothing. It is possible something new comes up but it is very doubtful, this was thoroughly investigated. The possibility remains no doubt but Schad is putting way too much emphasis on the "maybe". My problem with Schad is that he heavily used Innuendo to link Auburn in this and has come out and said it is something Heisman voters should think about. Schad is another bad reporter in the line of many horrible reporters IMO. At least he isn't as bad as Thayer Evans, with his actions it is very likely he could get sued as his reporting was false and wreckless. Hey maybe Evans can get fired from his new job.
