Hopefully, he's bright enough to not demand to be the highest paid player in NFL history. The Bengals will suck if he takes up all that salary.

Unfortunately Bengals haven't been able to put together a decent OLine during his rookie contract

Someone hasn't been paying attention. Bengals oline was playing very well in the secind half of last season until multiple starters went out injured.

By the time they played KC in the AFC Championship they were down 3 starters: Willaims at LT, Collins at RT, and Kappa at RG. Plus Ted Karras the C playing through an injury.

And they still came within a field goal of making a second straight Super Bowl.

And don't look now, but Bengals signed Orlando Brown at LT this offseason. Big upgrade at LT over Williams. And kept the rest of last year's starter together for extra depth this coming year.

Oline is coming together nicely in Cincy.

They should have a good line this year. They started to rebuild it last year. They have to get rid of Williams though. Every year he allows the most qb pressures. I would hope brown replaces him but he will probably still be the other tackle

Guess that’s why he was in BR last month for our spring game.

Brown is 100% replacing Willaims at LT. Williams will compete with Lael Collins and Jackson Carman (who grew tremendously as an NFL OL over the course of last season) at the RT position or stay on as a very solid backup T. Which would be nice depth to have on hand for what should be another deep playoff run.

My guess on how thing shake out:

LT: Brown
LG: Carman
C: Karras
RG: Kappa
RT: Collins/Williams

With the loser of the Collins/Williams battle as a very high quality backup T ready to step in if needed to keep a SB run on track. That would honestly be a very very solid line, likely one of the better ones on the League.

Is it Mahomes or is it Reid?

The two are undoubtedly an elite tandem when paired together, but Mahomes wasn't the Mahomes he is now until NFL legend offensive mastermind Andy Reid perfectly tailored an offense to fit Mahomes' exact skillset.

I'm not sold that Mahomes would be the elite player he is under any other coach.

Burrow got his bachelors degree from Ohio State before transerring to LSU. He was a graduate transfer to LSU where he graduated with a Masters. I'm sure he has some affinity for Ohio State or he wouldn't have bothered sticking around to get the degree before tranferring.

Yes, with the added wrinkle that Mahomes is not a prototypical NFL QB loke Brady was. He's awesome at what he does, but he's not a plug and play elite QB for any team in the league. Maybe he can adapt to a more traditional offense, maybe not. Reid is up there in age, so we may find out one day. But as long they're together they're gonna continue to be a big problem for everyone else in the league.
