I hate that rule. No way a LB can read run, then cover a kid like James Cook in the flat or on a wheel route.

And they actually call it in the NFL. In college I've seen a Guard literally blocking 8-9 yards downfield for the WR while the balls in the air....multiple times. Never called.

Yeah, it's basically impossible for the defense to be right when the QB is doing it properly.

I believe if you add height that is basically the scouting report for Drew Brees.

this thread speaks more about Bama insecurity than Joe Burrow.

Will be just fine, he just needs time to learn to trust his knee.

The risk of not investing in Cincinnati O-line keeps on giving...

Cincinnati invested pretty heavily in the OL. They just didn't draft Sewell like the "experts" said they should.

Upgraded the OL coach, big time, bringing Pollack back. Signed veteran former Pro-Bowler Riley Reiff to plug in at RT. And 2019 1st rd pick Jonah Williams is back from injury after missing most of the last 2 seasons to take the LT spot back over. Plus they drafted Carman out of Clemson in the 2nd rd to add depth to Guard position.

So true. There will be an ongoing campaign on this board by gumps to promote the idea that Tua was really better than Burrow and they beat themselves in 2019. They try so hard to make people believe 2020 Bama was better than 2019 LSU, its fun to watch.

I mean, let’s be honest, that was a major injury. You’d be crazy not to have some fear to work through once on the field again.

Yeah these guys are making money hand over fist and they know injury is a very real risk, but there is life after football and no one wants the last half of their life to be riddled with knee problems after one injury, let alone a re-injury.

He’s tough and nails and will rebound, just takes some time for some.

What the frick are you even talking about? Nothing either of them does in the NFL means shite on college football.

The colts learned that lesson the hard way with Luck. When my brother died in 2008, My uncle is a booster for the colts and asked Tony Dungy to send a note to us. He signed his book and wrote a really empathetic note which I will never forget. Tony Dungy is the shite.

Small hands seems like such a bad thing to judge a QB on. I have no idea the size of Burrows hands.

Shouldn't they just be judged on if they can make all the throws or not?

I remember a couple years ago when similar reports came out about Patrick Mahomes claiming he was throwing INTs all over the place in camp.
