The only ones who routinely frick things up are Alleva and F. King.
LSU's compliance department is like the KGB, but they usually sniff out any improprieties long before any 3rd party gets wind of it.
As far as legal counsel goes with regard to Alleva and F. King, all I can say is you can lead a horse to water.

Then they obviously didn't get a peep out of CWW when it all hit the fan. One would have to think LSU Compliance initiated the suspension if for no other reason than to buy time to gather information, even if it doesn't come from CWW.

You would think so, but LSU compliance has been quiet on everything. To my knowledge I've heard nary a peep from them on the matter, but yes, I assume they've been digging and combing through everything for a year now.
We'll see if F. King and Alleva made the right choice here, or muddied the waters with Friday's decision. Impossible to know either way until facts come out.

He couldn't have let that line out two weeks prior instead of letting his coach dangle in the wind?
