He needs to cut Dalvin Cook a check. Carried his arse in 2015 and 2016 in Tallahassee

Probably more than I care what an alter with 57 posts thinks
In here crying like a little bitch over Jimbo Fisher. What a freakin' loser.
Crying like Nicky Bitch wanting a rule change or a playoff spot.

What's with the Texas teams spending all that money and winning jack squat?
We have only had functional NIL for a few years. Texas is the only team to make the final 4 the last 2 seasons. Texas is a favorite to win the national title this year. That isn't the same as a national title, but it isn't jack squat (like A&M).
Who has won a title during the NIL years? Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia....that is pretty much the list of teams that can and will spend at the level Texas will spend.
Nothing unusual has happened. How is this all not obvious to you?

You know it's kind of funny that the one QB who was able to thrive in his outdated and complex offense was Jameis.

Texas doesn't actually spend near as much on football as everyone thinks.

For the non-Texans out there, this image is the perfect representation of what separates A&M from every other Texas university.
There’s cringe and then there’s A&M.

It is pretty obvious, recruits do not want go there..they do a lot of kiddish crap like having "yell leaders"
They would rather go to Texas and have all that oil money on there side when chips are down.

There is a really a tail of two Jimbos.
Something broke in the guy in his last year in Tallahassee and he got crossways with everyone . . .the fan base, the administration. The team had all sorts of bad dynamics.
His first few years at A&M were actually pretty good but he then reverted to form.
Maybe time away will help him get back to his roots when he had FSU winning consistently. His first six years there are great for most programs. He had 10 win seasons almost every year, won a natty, and finished ranked every year and in the top 10 four of those six years.
One thing is for sure though . . . he is not a disciplinarian. Between Crab Legs and the the crap gined up by his recruits in College Station, whoever hires him should understand his approach to player conduct.

Wtf are we doing..we need to spend a ton more in Football obviously..we are near the bottom..or are the donations not coming in because UF millionares want a coach with a winning SEC record that does not get constant boo's at home games?
Posted on 8/8/25 at 11:45 am to Gatorbait2008
Dude that's how it's always been even during the Urban years. Yet people still think UF is a great job.

Mostly referring to NIL money and pre-NIL bagman money.

Well that's all speculation.
Let's also not forget that we're paying Lagway like $4 million a year and that's not speculation.

Jimbo’s problems have always spawned from no discipline for players. Which makes him come across as a pussy in his players eyes.

This is so A&M that it hurts

The Jimbo Aggy history is just an absurd part of SEC lore. They went all in and spent a shite load of money.............and have nothing

Woodward left A&M in 2019; Fisher got his absurd extension in 2021.
Billy Luicci said it was a great deal, said A&M had the money and everyone else was just jealous and scared. He said it was like getting mad at someone for buying an expensive sports car.
Here you are echoing the sentiment

I've lived in Texas since I graduated college in the 90s. Through my job, I've met several tech millionaires over the years who went to UT Austin, but never any with oil money. All of the rich oil men I've met have been Aggies.
