Yeah, I hate I said that out loud. Hopefully it’ll be dismissed.
I'm positive it will be.
I remember several of them clamoring for Calzone while Mond was still there, then King was going to be the answer, until he wasn't.

Think about that, an Ed Orgeron quarterback is going to come and take the starting job despite a "quarterback whisperer" being there for 5 years.

Hi, angry sausage.
What statement in this topic is "made up?"

Still don’t think the LSU reject is starting, and if he does one has to think he will be better than he was at LSU. Your OL is simply terrible
We won’t even mention Mr Back-pedal from the snap of the ball.

You can't seem to make up your mind about what you think:

I just cannot believe Fisher would be dumb enough to start him. Then I remember that Mond started forever. So I go back and forth

Weigman has more talent in his little finger than either of the upperclassmen. However, he is a true fish

Yeah, Jimbo's offense is much too complicated to throw a true freshman to the wolves of the SEC West in.
And Weigman may be great, but he also may be a bust. Lots of highly rated quarterbacks have flamed out, many under Jimbo.

Did Winston start as a True freshman or red shirt? I know Johnny was a redshirt freshman
I’m trying to think if we have ever played a true freshman quarterback, I can’t remember if Kyle Allen or Kyler Murray played as true freshmen that one year under Sumlin, Mond started as a true freshman I think

You know that weird kid that didn’t know how to flirt so he kept picking on the girl he secretly had a crush on? Well…

I'm sure the Aggies appreciate you popping up in every thread to defend them from the mean ol' LSU fans.

Aggies tout Jimbo as a "quarterback whisperer" but that's arguably been the most underperforming position since he took the job.
This list was posted here last offseason and received a lot of Aggie vitriol, namely, "Muh just wait, Jimbo has his own guys in now."
Please no melts, this is not a troll, but simply a fact based assessment.
**2013**
John Franklin III
Transferred to East Mississippi Community College, then to Auburn, then to Florida Atlantic where he played receiver. Made the NFL as a defensive back.
Appeared on Last Chance U
**2014**
JJ Cosentino
Left the team after being the third string quarterback for most of his four years with the program
**2015**
Deondre Francois
Kicked off team due to a domestic dispute then transferred to Hampton
DeAndre Johnson
Kicked off team after punching a woman at a bar, then transferred to East Mississippi Community College, then to Florida Atlantic, and finally to Texas Southern
Appeared on Last Chance U
**2016**
Malik Henry
Kicked off team due to rule violations, transferred to Independence Community College but was also kicked off that team. Walked on at Nevada but ultimately left the program.
Appeared on Last Chance U
**2017**
James Blackman
Transferred to Arkansas State
Bailey Hockman
Transferred to North Carolina State, then to Middle Tennessee State. Now retired.
**2018**
James Foster
Transferred to Charlotte, successfully making the transition from 39er to 49er.
**2019**
Zach Calzada
Took over after Haynes King's injury. Was very inconsistent despite beating Alabama and transferred to Auburn to battle with TJ Finley for best recycled SEC quarterback.
**2020**
Haynes King
Threw 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions against Kent State before being injured against Colorado in his second start. Is super fast but seems to struggle with accuracy and turnovers.
**2021**
Eli Stowers
Already moved to tight end.
**2022**
Conner Weigman
Highly rated prospect though not as highly rated as Jameis Winston coming out of high school. Many Aggies have prematurely awarded him the Heisman Trophy and a national championship already. The kid definitely has some LARGE expectations to live up to.
Wow Sidewalk. You must have spent a couple of hours looking up all these facts (even though a few of them are wrong) and creating this post. If this is not a sign of pure obsession with Jimbo and A&M, then I don't know what is. You probably know more about Jimbo than any other poster on this board and he isn't even the coach of your t-shirt team.

Isn’t this the type of thing this board was meant for? Of course it got turned into a troll fest but the op was good enough to have a good discussion about.
Jimbos offense is the most complicated in the sec and that’s a fact. It puts so much on the qb that they never really understand it before they take a snap in a game
And then they don’t master it unless they start for multiple years like mond

I understand what you’re trying to say here, but most programs try to take a QB every year. I would venture to say 2/3 of the QB’s most coaches sign never start a game for that program unless there is an injury. They ride the pine or transfer out.
Does that mean those players are busts? Does that mean that coach can’t develop QB’s? No. It’s just the way things work out.
I’m not saying Jimbo is a QB guru/whisperer or whatever, but saying he can’t develop QB’s is silly. He’s put guys in the league from LSU, Florida State and Texas A&M.
