Someone should find the threads from when Arkansas and UGA hired him to see the reaction from Tennessee fans.

In al seriousness, seems like a decent coach. If Pittman follows him it’ll suck, but can’t see Pruitt doing that to Will Friend.

Congrats to vols. You were right. Pruitt is a smart man and Kirby Dumb is not. On the plus side, Georgia fans will appreciate Mark Richt in a few years.
What in gods name are you babbling about

I know a lot of UGA fans wanted him gone. I hope we go with someone who’s hungry, fiery, and innovative rather than a proven retread hire.
how many points did UGA average per game this year?

He also shits the bed 3 games a season. Looks completely lost.
His calls at UGA looked nothing like his calls at UT or Ark or Pitt. Kirby has a big say and every play goes through that headset.
The man has produced top offenses at nearly every stop and ours is currently ranked 121st out of 130. If you expect me to be upset by Kirby's wrong calls or Chaney having a brain fart now and again (and yes we've experienced those too) you're barking up the wrong tree.

Cobb Dawg, you need to see if the scouts offer an internet 101 class because your posts and .gifs are horrendous boarding

At Arkansas and Pitt he didn't do as well but he put both Brandon Allen and Nathan Peterman in the NFL.

Per the link:
The Bulldogs were 14th nationally in scoring and 18th nationally in total offense while ranking 16th in rushing and fourth nationally in pass efficiency.
Chaney’s offenses in Athens have been impressively balanced. This season the Bulldogs led the SEC in rushing at 238 yards per game and also averaged 226 passing yards per game. Georgia also led the conference in rushing in 2017, and quarterback Jake Fromm saw his passer rating jump by 11 points from his freshman season to his sophomore campaign in 2018.

Chaney is very average imo. Don’t think it’s a game changing hire but as I said solid based on the circumstances. He unquestionably gets too pass happy in spots but he also calls a very good game several times a season.
B- hire. About the same as I gave UGA and Arkansas when they hired him.

Chaney was a enigma.
He’d be on fire and then just completely go in a hole. Also the LSU game may have been the worst called offensive game I have ever seen at UGA.
I really don’t think he’s a bad hire, per se. I am also not sad to see him go.

That's fine. Nathan Peterman was all him and a much tougher case than Allen.

We don't need game changing. We need to crawl out of last place before we worry about that.

Rusty Mansell said Pittman isn't going to Tennessee.

So Chaney is taking Fromm, Swift, Holyfield, and our 5* studded line with him? The talent at his disposal at UGA was filthy

I didn't think he would. Friend wasn't gonna be let go nor should he be. We'd have to move one good OL coach to another spot and that wouldn't make sense except maybe out of spite.

Friend could be moved to TE coach or he may end upon Tuscaloosa replacing Brent Key.
