“Time to Kill the Bowls”

No just modify what exists today.

Create a 16 team play off. 1st round games are hosted by the higher seeds. Final 8 (seven games) will use the existing biggest bowls to have a champion. Rose/Peach/Cotton/Fiesta/Sugar/Gator and one more.

Keep the next 10 best/oldest bowls for teams 17-36. Examples Sun/Liberty/Music City etc.

Schedule the bowl games between Christmas and New Years inside the Playoffs.

Boom problem solved. We have a great playoff and keep a few bowl games for deserving teams. No more 6-6 teams in a bowl game.

Those are awful New Years Six games.

No way Virginia gets in and they aren't sending Georgia back to the Sugar bowl.

Bama/Baylor- Sugar Bowl
Florida/ND- Orange Bowl
Georgia/ Cincinnati- Cotton Bowl

Sugar has to take the next highest ranked SEC team if the champ is in the CFP.
Florida/ND can't happen.

All our bowl projections are verse shite teams. Am I supposed to give two shits about playing Virginia or Memphis? frick...shouldn't go 10-2 and be punished playing a shite program.

You can thank stupid bowl tie-ins that should've ended with the Bowl Coalition after the 94 season.

Arizona Bowl
Dec. 31
Prediction Wyoming vs. Georgia Southern

Please tell me there are still tickets available for this game. I cannot wait. They will probably $400+ on the secondary market.

Not saying we are going to lose in the SECCG, but if we did, Alabama would become the second highest ranked SEC team and should go to the Sugar Bowl. We would then have two losses along with UF, and UGA would be the higher ranked.

Is the Orange bowl higher in the pecking order than Cotton? I don't think anyone wants to play the G5 champ, and most people would prefer Miami to Dallas anyways

This shows how bad college football has gotten . None of those matchups are very good. The most intriguing team the sec would play if Baylor. The blue bloods need to get better .

Your brain would explode having to choose between rooting for your favorite team and sucking off Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is good but any playoff team would massacre them. They are not what they were in 2017 and 2018.

He probably has Bama losing @ Auburn now without Tua.

I’m pretty sure there’s a clause that says the Orange picks the highest ranked ACC team and if there isn’t a ranked team in the Top 25 then they can look elsewhere. The committee doesn’t make a Top 40. Not sure it’s ever happened. No way the Coastal winner is ranked if they lose in the title game.

Bama will be the next highest SEC team after LSU beats Georgia in the SEC Championship. Bama will be 5th.

The Orange Bowl has contracts with the SEC, ACC and Notre Dame.

Those would be terrible. Worst new year six bowl match ups ever? No one will care to play Baylor, Virginia, or Memphis....

Why? You’d rather play a “name” team having a shitty year?
