KJ hamler and Tim Patrick are Locks only decent targets. His best target, Cortland Sutton (two time pro bowler) has been out all year with an injury. With Jeudy turning out to be a bust on top of a crap O-line, Lock has no chance. Good news for lock is that other Broncos players that eventually got traded off the team or cut, actually did better when they went else where. Broncos need to fire Elway as their GM, but I doubt they will. It’s the cold hard truth.

Edit: Also, Lock has played like shite more than he should have so far this year. If the Broncos come back healthy next year and still suck, they should move on from him

JJ isn’t good. At all. Jefferson would have been better. But Lock has been dog shite this year too. I can get playing crappy because your line is awful and you have no time, which he’s had. But he’s still throwing mind numbingly retarded picks.

I think he can be salvaged. But he needs a lot of work. Gordon was a waste of money and resources. The Oline is mediocre at best. Having Sutton would have helped though.

It's his rookie season. And in his defense, Jeudy has to adjust to catch balls like this

He’s been an absolute bust so far. Another 5! drops today including a TD and a brutal drop on the potential game winning drive.

Lock’s on target completion % is 60%. That’s the worst mark in the NFL. That’s just awful. Even Wentz in his godawful year is 79%. He’ll. Newton is 74%.

Lock is 24th in WR drops. He’s middle of the pack in pressure %.

Actually top ten in time to throw in the pocket.

These stats surprise. Lock has been more arse than originally thought. He needs a QB whisperer. What he’s got now isn’t working. At this rate, he’s a backup QB. Prolly not that either though since he’s a TO machine,

This is a justified killing, and there isn't a jury in the world that would convict.

Just remember when you say, “JJ is not good,” don’t confuse that JJ with the real
JJ, Justin Jefferson.

Meanwhile Brandon Allen went 29-37 for 371, 2 TDs and 0 INTs for a trash Bengals team.

Lock is a huge tool. No different than any QB out of Mizzou.

Judy is alot more of a tool than Drew Lock. Lock at least acknowledges his mistakes.

Judy is like a diva without the talent.

So every WR in the league basically? Minus the no talent part.

Lock is not great. I hope he can improve

Jeudy, especially yesterday would have been cut if he were a lower draft pick or ufa.

Drew Lock has been impressive, but only the most elite can stay a starter in the NFL.

Notice how all the anti-Jeudy comments are coming from defensive Missouri fans.

I’ve been a Broncos fan all my life, watched almost every game this season. Jeudy is far from the biggest problem for the Broncos. He had an awful day yesterday, but he’s also made some awesome plays this year. Receivers don’t always explode onto the scene in the NFL. I’ve overall been encouraged by Jeudy this year.

Lock, on the other hand, has been trash. He scrambles into sacks every game, locks in on blanketed receivers when wide open guys are streaking down the field, and has one of the worst deep balls in the league. He has had some good moments, but it’s becoming clear he isn’t the guy.

Certainly not right now. It’s very clear Huepel and Dooleys system did him no favors. He had no responsibility. Only saw one side of the field as the other was purely decoy. Only responsible for one or two reads a game.

He’s behind in development honestly as football was never a primary sport until college.

Kid needs to sit his arse down and learn. Refuses to take easy plays.

I’ve not watched a lot of Den games but he seems to miss a wide open TE at least 3-5 times a game for 10 yard chunk plays.

I'm going to need an explanation on this "crap o-line" theory I keep hearing from Missouri fans. The Broncos' running game is in the upper half of the NFL and has one of the lowest sack %'s in the league. So, they can run block well enough and seem to be doing a fine job pass blocking as well. I'll admit I have no reason to dive into game film on the Broncos, but the measurable stats seem to point towards them not having a bad OL, at least nowhere near bad enough to account for Lock's issues. Same with the running game. I'll give him having some issues with receivers, but even having not great WRs in the NFL wouldn't cover-up how bad he's been either. He's not the only QB without any great weapons on the outside, yet he's at the bottom of the NFL in every measurable efficiency stat for QBs

Yes he is. Julio had issues with drops too early in his career. Juedy is going to be fine.

Jefferson may have been better, but that doesn't mean Juedy sucks. Jefferson is having an pro-bowl season (possibly all-pro), which isn't common for a rookie

With Juedy's route running ability and athleticism, I wouldn't say he projects to continue to struggle forever. He schooled some very good, NFL, DBs in college. And getting open doesn't appear to be a problem for him in the NFL either. He also has one of the worst starting QBs in the league throwing passes to him right now.
