Saban is allowing him some time to get things ready for his new job. He did the same with Kirby 2 years ago. Gave him an office to use and Georgia sent over a secretary to assist Kirby. He let Kirby have a couple of hours a day to work on Georgia stuff until the team left for their playoff game.

Schools will start putting in the contacts of coach that they have still in playoff even if offer another job and they take it.. Only way to address it if you ask me.. DC and OC leaving before playoffs going start happening a lot more to stop teams from winning them..

Chizik in the College Football HOF? I know Iowa St. loves him but the college HOF is a bit different.

Auburn fan at a Bama practice? Auburn not playing in the playoffs or fans just jumping ship?

Out 'cruitin' for the Vols. Maybe trying to flip a Bama recruit or two ... who knows.

They're probably falling all over themselves, trying to decommit from Alabama to go to Tennessee!

I've never understood why fans don't quite get that Saban does the right thing by his staff.

Saban and Kirby set the standard for how this should be handled, and the results for both of them are beyond dispute.

Saban told him not to show up so he has a scapegoat when Bama loses.
