Heupel made a comment at the end of his presser about the players feeling that loss….including the players that didn’t travel. Thought it was a curious comment.

He asked if Banks was injured for the reason he didn’t travel also. And he said he simply wasn’t available and he would evaluate things when he got back to Knoxville. Something isn’t right for sure in the locker room.

Even more reason that it's dumb to pay guys like him to play college football.

Universities should be able to trade players just like the NFL. Tell Banks, "You've been traded to Georgia Tech."

f all the rumors are true, this kid should have been sent packing a long time ago.

Maybe. But at this point it’s a rumor and I’m skeptical that the truth is going to be revealed on a message board.

I heard he got in a fight on the team bus with an actual hooker, not Hendon Hooker. Team clearly wasn't focused.

Heard Heupel had a rule about stepping on the power T in the locker room (step on it and you have to do push-ups) and he refused. My Tennessee family told me this, could be a load of bs tho.

So low T.

Other rumor was he stepped on the T in the locker room and they got into it.
I guess smoking cigars on the "T" is also against the rules.

Ncaa should recommend slot values from 1-120 for P5 and G5 teams, so that players can focus on games and won't sabotage their team for NIL money

Looks like Hooker is done at UT. 9 months to a year of rehab on the knee. We will see if Milton is going to be the guy over the next 2 games.

I seen a post on Facebook he tore his ACL. But can’t never tell about Facebook. But it’s not surprising as 75% of ACL tears in football are non contact.

Everybody does. But multiple formations. That has not changed in 50 years.

I've heard that it's unfortunately true. We got fricked because of stupidity.

Now that's funny.

On the original topic... Apparently, Banks had a number of issues last week but the defense supported the decision to leave him behind so the locker room wasn't divided. The problem is that defense just isn't good enough to leave its star MLB at home. There's no way you can play/bring him though given he had multiple things during the week.

I was really enjoying the Banks redemption story. He was kicked off as a freshman following dumbass comments during an arrest that got made public. Spent a year off the team and was finally allowed to return. Kept his nose relatively clean for 2 years but held out last offseason for NIL according to a lot of folks and then pulls this shite now. What a godddamn shite thing to do.

Banks is the reason coaches talk about depth so much.

After watching his arrest video, I’m wondering why this guy was ever back on a CFB roster that wasn’t a community college.
