Tuberville-Chizik tenure?? Well Chizik was Head Coach of Iowa State when Ramsey and Raven Gray where being recruited by Auburn and was at Central Florida when Reddick was being recruited. So 1 out of 4 under the Tuberville-Chizik tenure.

How many universities lets the coach that got them on probation keep an office on campus and continue to work for them for over 18 years after he was supposedly fired??
Former head coach Pat Dye in his office at Auburn University. Oct. 31, 2010

Exactly, Auburn has made a whole list of new enemies:

Thayer Evans
Pete Thamel
Joe Schad
Mark Schlabach
just to name a few
If this story about Calloway catches legs that list will be your list of enemies....

I'm kind of mindblown that Jeffery Lee is getting so much attention from his statement. The dude owns an AU web site for Christ's sake.

It was common knowledge around this area that Dye did not feel welcome at the football complex while Tommy Tuberville was the coach at AU. Dye was a long time buisness relation with Lowder. If I'm not mistaken Dye invested over $750,000 into Lowder's bank, and may have even held a seat on Colonial's board. Lowder was behind JetGate, and Dye while not directly named in that coup to oust Tubs was a big part of the scheme to get Petrino to AU.
Common knowledge? Srsly?
It is also common knowledge that Bear Bryant was paying players is it not? If it wasn't for his unfortunate death immediately following his retirement, I can assure you the Bammer athletic department would have treated him in a similar fashion that Auburn has treated Pat Dye. I see very little difference between the two (other than the records).
I also find it amusing that so many Bammers "know" the inner-workings of the Auburn athletic department and the board of trustees.

i think jeff lee is a genious!!
he makes accusations against alabama, then says he has no evidence...YET...
his breaking "news" will guarantee a huge jump in hits to his website from auburn, alabama & other cfb fans checking for the latest dirt out of the state of alabama. AND, this is brilliant, will divert attention from the long, grueling, seemingly never-ending local and national speculation about dirty doings in the auburn atheletic department.
the greatest part is that he doesn't have to provide a bit of proof...not a father admitting to shopping his son, nothing. just jump on a local radio show, present speculation & hearsay and get the rumor mill spinning.
love it. brilliant.

Agreed. He is just using the same model that others used in 2010. You don't have to prove anything. Just say that you have inside sources, and use the "where there is smoke" analogy. Brilliant!

Not brilliant, but it does work... .I personally hate it...

he didn't even have someone in calloway's family admit to asking for pfp! he just rode the airwaves with stuff that he heard!!
as a former p.r. director for a small university, i gotta say, this is some talented spinning!!

How often has another team let a coach that got them put on probation stand with the team on the national stage when they won a national championship??
how many universities have a statue outside the stadium of a former coach who put the program on probation?... I can think of one.
