He is a fantastic player. Good luck to him tonight. Not only has this been the golden age of SEC football in terms of national titles, but also in terms of Heisman trophies. Pretty remarkable.

To the LSU fans, the overwhelming majority of Bama fans think he deserves it. Some on here like trolling you guys because some of y’all are so sensitive about it.

I still think Daniels kind of looks like the actor who played Darnell on “My Name is Earl”

He's a really good college qb who will get drafted in the second to third round. Too injury prone/soft to go earlier

Daniels deserves it but it really is a damn shame Kelly didn’t give him a defense. Three losses is unacceptable.

Nice troll! He’s neither one of those and will be drafted in the top of the 1st round and you know it.

Daniels will be a first round pick because of the success of QB’s with similar skill set in the NFL. I am willing to bet he doesn’t drop past 20th pick in the first round.

He’s kind of like Mahomes in that he won’t have an early 1st grade but a decent team will have a chance to snag him.

JD is great and probably deserves it but has anyone won the Heisman who was on a 3 loss team?

Daniels 100% deserves the Heisman and he might just win it. If Nix would have made it into the playoff I believe he'd of won the award, although Daniels would have still deserved it. Since he didn't, I think Daniels has a great chance.

RG3 and Paul Hornung come to mind.

The Heisman is certainly imperfect in how it is awarded; it used to be only upper classmen, it still ignores defensive players and offensive linemen, and it is too QB heavy. It is pretty much the best QB on a good team except for rare seasons where a RB or WR stands out.

All that being said, Daniels deserves it as much as anyone else this year. Honestly, the RB from Missouri should have been a finalist. Bowers as well, if he didn’t get hurt.

Or does Dallas Turner deserve it for breaking Daniels in half?

Pretty much, yeah. He deserves to win; guy had an amazing season.

I'm curious how high he'll go in the draft, and if he'll get stuck somewhere thinking a new QB is a quick fix, or a team that will build something around him if the other pieces aren't already there.

There are NFL cheerleaders that have had better NFL playing careers than Johnny Manziel.

Ah.. the guy who *checks notes* did not miss a single game over 5 years of college football is soft/injury prone.

Some of you guys don’t even try.

Seeing him going around 9-15 in mocks now.
