Simmons is a great passer, does things at his size that deceives you, and can use both hands to score. He does lack strength, is not a great defender, and will have to develop an outside jump shot going forward. But saying he is not that great is unfair to him at this stage of his career. It's not his fault that everyone keeps touting this guy or that guy as the next LeBron. He just needs to be Ben.

Murray is tremendous as well but also has things he has to improve upon.

"Murray has got to be one of the most prolific scorers in the nation". So is the PG at Okla. Want to bet who gets drafted higher, Simmmons or Murray or the other great shooters across the country? The NBA's developmental league is full of great scorers. I'll take Magic's & Reggie Miller's & Jay Bilas' opinions as to Simmon's talents over any ranter's here. As Magic put it: "how many 6'10" freshmen have jump shots"? I didn't".

Jonny said in his post game that Blakeney is the best shooter in the country. That settles this thread.

Dorian Finney-Smith said Ben Simmons is the strongest guy he's ever played against. He completely destroys guys in the post when he wants to. He's also one of the very best on ball defenders in the conference when he's locked in. His lateral quickness is insane.

His game is pretty much complete except for a jump shot. That is rare for a guy his age. Of course a jump shot is crucial if he wants to be a great player winning rings. I maintain that he will be an all star even with a sub par outside shot. He is easily that good. Easily.

He's got to improve his lower body control on his jumper. His feet get all over the place and it messes with his upper body mechanics, which are pretty clean. He doesn't have a bad stroke, he's just got to refine it is all.

Yeah it's not like he needs to reinvent the wheel. If he can become a decent shot he will be big time in the NBA. He is the kind of player u build around to win a ship or 3. Extremely talented player.

Spoken like a true Arkansas fan. By that I mean a very tenuous grasp of the English language.
