I can't take you seriously because you refuse to acknowledge the mismatches Duppre, Niblack, Bond, and Law create that Milroe can't take advantage of. If Milroe was a credible passer we'd have a 1,000 yard RB because competent passing would open up running lanes. These are basic accomplishments that any competent (not elite) QB would produce with the talent on the offense.

Yeah, the whole Bama fanbase would have agreed after the Texas game.
They did and even was taking about Saban being done. Wait til the NIL start showing more. They will have Milroe's bags packed. Maybe even if they lose Monday and it's partly his fault.

Dude you are spot on and most logical point of view that majority of non Bama fans in this country think and see as well

Thank you. At this point all the Bama fans telling Milroe he's doing a great job are doing more harm than good. Milroe really thinks Bill O'Brien was trying to sabotage him when Bill gave him the truth.

The truth is if Milroe still can't process what defenses throw at him like he can't right now and if Julian Sayin is a "Bryce Young" level talent, we will have a new QB sometime next season at Bama.

I have no idea where you got this from. Please go back and show where I ever said that.

Have you watched our games? There have been huge running lanes since our OL started to gel.

Bryce has the intellect. But, yes, he has a noodle arm.

I agree, but tell that to the NFL GM's. After AR i don't know who they may think is the next "IT" guy at QB.

.....and most Bama fans do not care if Jalen Milrore gets drafted high, they just want him to play well for us and then have a wonderful life.

You have a great defense and he's been above average. If you lose, he will be the flaw that costs you the national championship.

Every game you've been in where you have faced a good defense (and several where you've faced bad ones) you've gone through long stretches with hardly any offense. That will likely bite you at some point.

To me Milroe is a guy everyone thought was awful at one time. And now because he's proven to be much better than that, that makes him great. That's what I see people doing.

He got first downs at the end to salt the SEC Championship game away. Those were probably his biggest plays of the game. We blew some coverages and he made the throws on those, but that's what any decent QB does.

They did. And I told them at the time Milroe would be fine and they were going to have to be patient because Milroe wasn't plug-n-play like they were used to.

Yeah, so I’m gonna go ahead and call bullshite on this entire exchange having happened. Link?

BOB is still right. Maybe BOB will be wrong one day but not today. It's a shame so many people are blowing smoke up Milroe's arse because he plays for Bama. But, this cat is benefiting from the OL getting their shite together and nothing more.

Since getting benched, Milroe is completing 67% of his passes for 2,269 with 18 TDs and 3 INTs. He's also added 10 rushing TDs since Texas and 2 100-yard rushing games.

He's not perfect. He misses some receivers and has limitations in where he can effectively operate across the field. Bryce Young did too. I went to all the 2022 home games and there were plenty of times where Young missed a wide open receiver. He also had a consistent problem with throwing deep balls to wrong shoulder in both his years as a starter. That is partly why Jamo's knee exploded in the CFPCG.

Milroe doesn't have massive numbers but 28 total TDs and 3 turnovers is huge. The approach of this team is different because the defense is better than the last few years and the new clock rules favor condensing the game. As the season has progressed, the offense is less dependent on splash plays to score and instead controlling the ball to shorten the game.

Milroe is not good. He's improved but he's only went from horrible to bad. I'm pulling for the dude but he just doesn't have the "it" factor. Can not read a defense or see open receivers to save his life. 5 yards to 20 yards he's very inaccurate and hasn't been to accurate on the long balls recently.

Receivers have bailed him out on majority of throws with acrobatic catches. Still doesn't get rid of the ball and looks for too many homerun plays even when they're not there.

I owe Hurts a huge apology. I always said he would never start 1 NFL game. So this is my apology to him because I was sure wrong.
