I personally think it's too early and I definitely think he can improve reading the whole field. That being said many publications have him in 5 to 7 rankings range. Alabama plays probably 3 more ranked opponents before ballots are due. With couple of great games against good teams in Oct/Nov do you think Jalen Hurts gets an invite to New York?

No, he's having a good year, but not anywhere close to a Heisman year.

Maybe if he could throw a decent long ball? But that's why I know your kidding and I pray he doesn't get invited.

I'm not fapping over Hurts by no means. I was just looking at few Heisman polls and rankings this morning. You can check them yourself...but it's definitely not a mute point.

He will be in the race this week. If he continues to play like he has he will win it!

He is statistically better than JT Barrett in everything but passing TDs.

He shouldn't be. He's young and has some developing to do before he can be considered in the Heisman race. You know how many QB's in the country would be lighting the world up with Bama's WR/RB/TE/OL combo?

They're high for even mentioning him in the Heisman talk.

Honestly, he might be offensive MVP but of all our team, I'd nominate Eddie Jackson.

He is only like the 3rd or 4th best QB in the sec alone much less this Heisman talk starting by national guys.

He's a great runner. His down field passing is meh. If UT's DBs were half way decent they could have come up with a few INTs yesterday.

ESPN needs to stop this. And yall do too. I love the kid and can't wait to see how far he can develop. But, he will not win the Heisman, nor is he worthy.

His passing needs to improve....a LOT....but he has a cannon for an arm.

Barring injury, Hurts will win a Heisman before is career is done at Bama
