WHY would you NOT play 1 of the teams CLOSEST to you?
Also, you have 7 teams in each div., so how does that work?
ex.: UGA/Tn. Fl./SC. Ky./Vandy
So who does Mizz. "not play"?
Along with that, Tn./Vandy, Ala./Aub., & Miss./MSU HAVE TO PLAY each other due to in-state rivalries.
While it's an interesting idea, I don't see how it can be done.

It’s one game. Going to a 9 game SEC schedule allows for one permanent cross division game to stay. What are you so scared of?

LSU vs UF might be the most competitive series in the SEC in the last 20 years or so. I love beating you guys, and I hate losing to you guys...
Ideally we would still play, but I also wouldn't mind getting Vandy more often.
