Aggy probation was the reason our game was not televised in 89 & 90, the Sherill years, and 94 & 95, the Slocum years. After that, ABC? had given the Thanksgiving Day time slot to other teams/conferences???
When the aggy probation penalties expired, the game was again televised, on T+1 (Friday after Thanksgiving).

From the time UH joined the SWC in 1976, the game was sometimes on Thanksgiving weekend, and sometimes not, because the whole calendar was geared off having OU-Texas on the second Saturday in October. When UH joined, that took out the slack in the schedule and meant that some years there were not enough weekends between the 2nd Saturday in October and Thanksgiving for the final weekend of conference play to be wrapped up on that weekend. When the move was made to the Big XII, they anchored the game, and the end of the season, on Thanksgiving weekend and moved everything else around as needed to suit.

And A&M has never harassed anybody online before. Did the Tate Martell thing never happen? Was Kellen Mond consistently praised at Texas a&m? Sure wasn’t on this site, I know that much.
The reality of the Texas rejects (utrejects.com) that went to Texas a&m and their ability to poorly conceive made up fallacies is worse than most can even dream up.

By the way, for all of the wwii talk preventing you from winning a national title, didn’t army win a title during WWII?
Facts are that since 1931, your school has been an embarrassment to academics and athletics and you have not a single championship or semifinal appearance in any major men’s sport in over 80 years
