It’s possible Mizzou may be a fit for the SEC after all.

Purely anecdotal evidence but this morning on the local news they were showing a map of the US, the map showed what kinda pie was preferred for Thanksgiving dinner by state, Pecan or Punkin. MO was Pecan and all the border states excluding AR and OK were Punkin.

Still not settled yet baws, here’s the rest of the quiz.

Sweet tea or unsweetened tea?
Grits or oatmeal ?
Kentucky Fried or Popeyes?
Football or basketball?

Last but not least, you have to know at least 3 verses of the song “Dixie” or “Rose of Alabama”.

But how do they pronounce "pecan" is the thing.

Meh.

Laynes.

Football, but lately November has been so shitty I've used Bball to distract myself.

In college, I mercilessly attacked an underclassman from Dallas who insisted it was "pee-can" instead of "pah-cahn". I went overboard and I regret it now but at the time it seemed like a hill worth napalming the shite out of.

Sweet tea or unsweetened tea? Unsweet or just barely sweetened

Grits or oatmeal? Grits but I don't hate oatmeal

Kentucky Fried or Popeyes? If that's the only 2 choices popeyes

Football or basketball? Basketball

Do I get banished to Mizzou???

I know some country rednecks from the south who pronounce it pee-can. It bugs me, but I don't believe it's necessarily a yankee/southern thing.

I know Georgians are cans- are the rest of you too? I'm a cawn and I think just about everyone here is a cawn.

They ain’t got those joints in MO, I’ve seen KFC, Popeyes, Zaxbys, Strips and Canes. There are several KC restaurants that specialize in pan fried chicken that are pretty good.

Sweet tea or unsweetened tea? sweet

Grits or oatmeal ? grits with eggs always. oatmeal is ok by itself.

Kentucky Fried or Popeyes? of the two, Popeyes.

Football or basketball? it's football for me.

Paa-cawn...not pee-can.

I've picked and chopped cotton IN MISSOURI too. Magnolia in the front yard.

Want a Missourah boat ride sometime???

Agreed.

In fact, here's the map that proves you are correct:

It's not. It's a "right way and wrong way".

The bodily waste way is the wrong way.

And CFA over Popeye's?

That's nasty, bland shite

Yep, Georgia is definitely can, my wife works with a Georgia baw and he’s always correcting my wife when she says cawn. Lol
