I think it is reasonable that conference schedules being rebalanced and more teams in the playoffs will remove the unconscious bias Bama has received that past decade.

Unconscious bias doesn't win BCS and playoff games.

You may not have noticed, but Bama's been highly successful in those.

While Alabama has been the perennial standard bearer for the college football world, Finebaum doesn’t believe the Crimson Tide will remain there after Saban’s eventual departure. While it may still be a premier program, the level of success it’s enjoyed under Saban is unduplicatable.

I’m a Bama fan and would tell you that much.

Kind of like predicting that the sun is going to burn out someday. Factually true, but not soon.

So allowing another half a dozen middling teams into the playoffs will somehow diminish what Alabama has accomplished in the BCA/CFP the past decade? When a program consistently competes at an elite level every year, they deserve the attention they generate.

Probably true - simply because of how fast things are changing.

Because you beat him one time in a bowl game?

Nevermind the 2 losses that costs you national titles.

Well not that I disagree with you but A&M is saying they deserved that 4th spot in the playoffs and it was given to Notre Dame because the committee was protecting Alabama.

I do not agree with this nor endorse it.
