Iow, UGA vs AU game played in Sept and UGA vs UT game played in Nov.
Better for AU & UGA to play that cross-div game earlier in the season (in case of SEC-CG rematch) and it also spreads out UT's difficult games.
I can’t believe someone besides an Auburn fan said this. I completely agree with it by the way. Now that AU plays UGA/Bama late in the season home & away on the same years we get fricked every other year.

Maybe AU and Gus should develop depth so you’ll be healthy come SECCG time.
Remember, we lost our starting QB 3 series into the season. Our backup then went 11-1 as the starter. We lost one of our top RB’s half way through the SECCG. Our true freshman back stepped up and went off on the AU D. Bottom line, we were better on that day.

Auburn was NOT a better team than Georgia this year. In fact, Auburn has a long history of being simply an average team outside of Cliff Hare (Jordan-Hare) Stadium.
