LSU basketball was never great. We had a couple of runs but we will never be known as a basketball school. Meanwhile we have several sports where we have been great and can continue building on them. Football, baseball, WBB, gymnastics, to name a few. Let’s put the money there.
You are in LALA land. MBB will not make or break him. Put the money in football, baseball, and women’s basketball. They are making the LSU brand huge!

You want to feel old? When was the last time LSU basketball reached the final four? 2006 under John Brady who should never have been fired. Most of you were still in diapers. And, I was 60 years old.
My gut is rooting for Miami but the long term recruiting ramifications tells me to GEAUX HOOSIERS!
No. Basketball is fricked. Give the money to baseball.

Amazing. Have you forgotten how fast the program went down after 2019? I don’t want him near this program. Too much testosterone and irregard for the consequences when they take control. Can’t be trusted.
If you had gotten the crap beat out of you like Ole Miss in 1970, you’d hate LSU too. 61-17 was Archie’s last memory of playing against LSU at night in Tiger stadium. It was a massive beat down climaxed by Archie being sacked in his own end zone by Ronnie Estay.
Season ticket holder for 40 years. North End Zone is awesome. Close to the band. Close to the field. Easy in and easy out to portals. Wouldn’t trade them for anything!

If you can’t find things to do in Houston, you must be dead man walking. Have you tried Google?
No way. They have their DC who is now head coach and we have “loaned” them Charlie Weis. Ole Miss will roll the green weenies. Sorry.
This is total crap. LSU was set to play in that game. At the LAST minute mighty Notre Dame decided to change their bowl policy and the suck ups didn’t hesitate to take them. Texas beat their arse 21-17. There were only 11 bowl games at that time so LSU was fricked.
Do you not see the irony in Notre Dames decision. Look at the OP.
I don’t disagree but think it is fitting, giving what they did to LSU, that they got screwed.

Notre Dame has come full circle.

Back in the day, they had a policy of not playing in bowl games. The LSU Tigers were set to play in the 1970 Cotton Bowl. LSU was 9-1. But out of nowhere Notre Dame decided to change their bowl policy and bumped LSU out of the Cotton Bowl. LSU decided to stay home and sit out bowls. How ironic that Notre Dame has decided to sit it out because they were snubbed. I have hated Notre Dame ever since they pulled that stunt back then and will always hate them. Go to hell Notre Dame!

Yes. Estay sacked him in the end zone for a safety. I was there. After the sack Estay raised both arms and looked at the crowd as if to say we got that Mfer. An amazing night!

No one seems to have noticed the students in the stands. They’re all wearing pajamas. It used to be tradition for freshmen in ROTC to wear pajamas to the first game.

Need 2 tickets for LSU - Ark

Will take 2 North Endzone tickets plus parking pass plus $20 to take tickets off your hands.
I was there with my 11 year old son. I don’t remember it being cold but I do remember zero first downs for Bama in the first half. We sat next to a Bama fan and his son. He was polite until we fumbled. Then he turned to me and said now we’re gonna kick your arse. Didn’t turn out well for him but typical attitude of Bama fans. Great memory with the LSU band and fans taking over the stadium post game.

What a bunch of word salad.
