It is pretty liberating. I hated the idea of even pretending we would be good this season.

Actually after that game I can take it a step further: if we replace Sumlin with a defense-first coach I will know to avoid the whole program for a couple of years. Apparently no matter what we do we can't field a good defense, and I have a feeling we will stubbornly continue to try to throw money at that problem in a wasted attempt to fix it.

You mean fake swag and shallow appearance investments don't build a winning turdition?

Sarge, I have seen some of the best teams in College football beat MSU and then us beat them. I have also seen some of the worst teams in college football beat MSU and hopefully eventually we beat them. It is a kids game played by testosterone filled kids. You never know for certain what you will get (Famous Alabama field goal +6 for other team play).

In the first half, I thought, "Oh crap, how will MSU handle this?" The last half I thought, "Crap-O. How will they handle this?"

I don't expect aTm to play the rest of the year like this. It will be an interesting year for everyone except Alabama. Same old so-so for them. They beat their opponent by 18 points and Saban has a melt down, throws his headphones and later on, only wants to talk about three plays that had no bearing one the outcome.

It's football - Gotta love it.

And your DUMBASS fanbase actually thought they dealt LSU a serious blow when they hired him.
