I won't be shocked if he wins again Saturday....

But two different podcasts with two guys on each and all four total agree with all of these statements.

"Georgia won't have an athletic edge. This is the highest blue chip ratio team in the country. Talent is everywhere."

"Milroe is the second best QB in college football on deep balls to Daniels. He's a RB playing QB and a very, very fast one. So difficult to defend"

"This is the best defense Beck will have faced and the best defense in football. Multiple future first rounders in a lot of places on this defense."

And after all of that:

"This is the best job Saban has done as a coach with the limitations at QB and this not being one of his better defenses"

Bama is not the best defense in college football. Auburn is not a good team and they ran all over Bama. they should have won the game. LSU went up and down the field on Bama. they had two dropped passes that killed two drives. besides the non targeting call on the Bama player that knocked Daniels out of the game, Bama could have easily lost that game. they beat two unranked teams in the SEC by a total of 9 points. Georgis will beast Bama by 17 points minimum.

The guy did back up a little bit and say maybe not statistically, but from an athlete talent standpoint, no one looks better.

Which kind of calls into question the assessment about the coaching job, right? Isn't that saying they got the best dudes, but don't play the best, just one of the best.

That had to do with scheme which, UGA doesn’t run for reference.

UGA doesn't presnap motion?
UGA doesn't jet mesh at the snap?

You do know that you can watch the UGA offense live on Saturdays and at any time you like on YouTube.

It was a penalty for a late hit. The penalty yardage is the same. Bama would have still won had Turner been ejected. Get over it.

Maybe, but you could make an argument for 6 or 7 other QBS

Maybe but this defense pales in comparison to defenses from 09-13.

quote:

Wrong. There a maybe a couple first rounders, true, but it is not loaded with first rounders.

Saban has done a fantastic job. I don't care about some high school bullshite rating. those are about as right as the weather forecasts. The team is talented but not anything like some of Sabans other teams early in his tenure.

UGA doesn’t run a predominant read option with a dedicated use of the QB run with delayed handoffs. What I said is correct. I’ve watched all your games.

Auburn wasn’t beating Bama with Jet Sweeps.

That's my point. All of this can't be true. Honestly, his best coaching job may have been 2009. Analytically, Florida was a better football team that year. Texas was on par. Bama struggled with some so-so teams but balled out when they had big games. And I don't think the roster was up to what it became later.

We're closer to Texas.

I guess we can all come together Sunday morning and see which way the wind is blowing.
You have to know disappointment will be everywhere and especially on the LSU,Auburn or UGA fans if ( God forbid), Bama should win.

OP learned today that random dudes on different podcasts say a bunch of random, hyperbolic, wrong, and inconsistent things.

I didn't learn it today. But it's so obvious and it's been said before. But it seems no one recognizes or has stated the impossibility of all of those statements being true.

Then you've seen manipulation of the defense man and zone coverages with presnap changes and motion along with reversing the back alignment.

The UGA offense is a chess match before the snap. You can commit numbers to the run defense. And I expect you will. But you will be formationed/motioned out of leverage.

Good luck on Saturday.

Georgia is the favorite. Georgia is on 29 game winning streak. It is essentially a home game for Georgia. Really no excuse for them to lose. None.

I could make a 10 page thread with the same argument for Bama.

It is going to be a good game.

I listen to a lot of Sports Talk Radio and it is staggering how talented Alabama is and, at the same time, how hard it is for Nick Saban to field a team that can compete with Vandy. They are uber talented until they start talking about coaching and then the talent level drops off to that of mid level middle school football team. It is truly amazing....
