I am starting to feel confident that King is going to win the job for A&M. He had 314 yards in the only game of his career, and was 21-33 (despite several drops). He did throw three picks, but two of those were odd deflections. He actually looked pretty dang good.
He looked bad in the spring game, but word from practice is that he has gotten better and better. If he does put it together enough to beat out Max, look out, because the guy is just blazing fast.
Gonna be a fun year!

I'd hope so if I were an A&M fan. I would not want to rely on Max Johnson.

I hope so. I think King has a lot of potential. The extra speed out of the backfield will totally change how defenses play against A&M.

You better hope not, no matter what your beat writers are saying he does t look that great. That’s people that are neutral at practice.

King has 3x the talent Max does. Max played from behind a ton and had some big stats, but just isnt very athletic.
