Well, it's been half a decade since anyone won a legitimate college football national title. The sport has been semi-pro since 2021.

Yea, bama is toast. They are like England right now. Living off memories of 100 years ago while getting flooded by migrant hoards.

That's the current excuse.
Over on the Bama board, every other post is bitching about NIL and the transfer portal. The rest are gumps hoping that Lane sucks at LSU. There are few if any posts about how excited they are for the upcoming season because Bama is going to great. They know where things are going for their program now that Papa Saban and paying players under the table are gone.
