Ignore the slight number change. I don’t know what you’re talking about

I know. They reset the schedule and somehow Bama constantly starts out playing the bottom of the East and it resets again before they make it to a season against someone good.

We played the Blackout game vs UGA back in 08 and the schedule somehow reset and worked against us, we had to go there again in 2015. We played UF fairly recently too and Missouri that's about all there is in the East. So where do you get that BS?

It's been even longer than that since USCe won a title worth hanging a banner.

I was in the student section and it was my freshman year. All time favorite game I've ever been to and I don't see that changing.

I was there as well...

But oddly I kinda give the nod to Ole Miss Thursday night game when they were ranked 3rd or 4th.
the "birthplace" of Sandstorm for us that night.

It was also a thursday night, I was a Freshman and quite hammered.

And less than 6 months since they won a national championship so they've got that to cling too, I spose. But no they are not and do not compare to South Carolina in football. And really never have.

I didn’t expect this thread to actually trigger anyone, but I guess I should have.

This thread makes me think again of how much I'd like it if Auburn moved to the East.

We have a terrible record against them, but the distance is so right to have a good series.

Really think I could come to hate Auburn pretty thoroughly. Maybe not as much as Georgia and Clemson, but I could see it being a better hate than Florida and Tennessee.

Hmmm my hate rating:

1) Georgia/Clemson
2) Auburn
3) Florida

I could see it going like that.

In an incredibly ideal world the SEC somehow adds NC State and a Virgina school.

Then I could put NC State at 2) and bump Auburn down.

Be hard to have Auburn in the East if that happened. Like 3 teams would have to move West, and some of them have extensive histories unlike Missouri and the rest of the East.

What East teams dows Missouri look forward to playing anyway? It's not like back in the day when Nebraska and Kansas popped up on the schedule, but there's gotta be somebody.

I remember refreshing my ticket page for the bama game until someone cancelled their ticket at 3:45am the week of the game. Almost no freshman got tickets to that game, so the amount of effort I put in to going to the bama game gives it the extra push for me.

Unfortunately I wasn't there yet for the Ole Miss one. That was the year before me. I bet that was wild though.

I'm assuming attendance was low that Friday on campus.
