I don’t give a shite about Texas. I’d love to back you guys in this argument, and I hate the Ags, but drewbie and sao are just spewing feces.

Holy shite. You listed Aggy 88 as their last 'major's and ours as the OB.

Are you functionally retarded?

Doesn’t make it a BCS Bowl. This is retarded Aggie logic they use to claim their Cotton Bowl win over Oklahoma was major. LSU fans don’t trumpet their win over aggy as a major bowl win. At the time, it was basically the CapOne Bowl. A very nice bowl, but not one of the major bowls.

The 1988 Cotton Bowl was #8 A&M vs. #12 Notre Dame. Notre Dame was 8-3.

Right. It also featured major conference champion and Notre Dame. They get special treatment anyway.

The 2004 Liberty Bowl featured 10-1 Louisville and 11-0 Boise, number 7 and 10 respectively. I guess it was a major bowl...

You wrote this.

quote:

The last ‘major’ bowl A&M has won was the 1988 Cotton Bowl over Notre Dame.

If you are gonna shite talk, so it right.

I guess Arkansas last major bowl win was ‘78 Orange over Oklahoma.

Did you fail the Reading section of the STARR test as a kid?

Point out the incorrect statement. What Alliance/Coalition/BCS/NY6 Bowl has Arkansas won?

Did you explain that to yourself before you wrote the OP? Or did you just decide on this new logic now?

It was pre-coalition/alliance/BCS/NY6. The only think making a bowl ‘major’ at that time was tying itself to a major conference champion. That’s why the bowl would be major at the time.

I guess Arkys and Aggys would need that explained. I don’t think you find Bama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, etc claiming this was a major bowl during these wins. Ole Miss might join you though.

A 2 loss conference champion and an independent that had 4 losses after the game not even ranked in the top 10. Very major.

I legit think you might be retarded.

You realize no one (other than Aggie) claimed the Cotton Bowl was a major bowl before you got here, right? We were talking about divisional championships and BCS Bowl appearances. Please review your 3rd grade reading packet.

Great, so you agree that by alliance/coalition/BCS/NY6 standards, Arky last won a major bowl in the 78 Orange.
