You keep saying division. What about the actual conference championship?

I know Broyles won some in the 60s. Did yall ever get any after that?

Is the Sugar Bowl not a BCS Bowl? What about Cotton?

Aggy logic,
Boys we have now beaten the Texas Longhorns in the 2000 BCS Cotton bowl and we're retroactively claiming the 2000 nation championship.

Baby steps, Aggie. You have to be able to win the division first to even worry about the Championship.

I’d love to stick up for you guys here, but watching this argument is like seeing a bunch of retards have a pillow fight. I don’t mean that because your programs have had bumpy rides, but because this thread is full of fail.

BCS was from 1998-2013. Aggies made a Sugar Bowl after winning Big 12, and lost to Ohio State.

That is A&M’s last BCS/NY6 bowl appearance.

Bowl Alliance was in place from 1995-97. No alliance bowl appearances for A&M.

Bowl Coalition was from 92-94. Aggies appeared in Cotton Bowl following 92 and 93 regular season. They lost to Notre Dame both times.

The last ‘major’ bowl A&M has won was the 1988 Cotton Bowl over Notre Dame.

If you are gonna shite talk, so it right.

I guess Arkansas last major bowl win was ‘78 Orange over Oklahoma.

If you're counting their 88 Cotton as Major, aren't you doing it wrong, Professor? Want to look at us again?

Cotton Bowl is only a major bowl if a Texas team plays in it.

I could hear the furious typing from here....

All in an attempt to try to inflate the Cotton Bowl so Aggie doesn't feel bad. What a good Big Brother.

Aggies were 1987 SWC Champs, then won the Cotton Bowl. What am I missing?

No. You’re probably wanting to suggest that Arkansas had some ‘major’ Cotton Bowl wins over KState and Texas, but the Cotton wasn’t a top tier major bowl at the time. It wasn’t in the BCS Bowls.

The 2012 Cotton Bowl was #6 Arkansas vs. #8 Kansas State. Both teams were 10-2

The 1988 Cotton Bowl was #8 A&M vs. #12 Notre Dame. Notre Dame was 8-3.

Even in trying to come in and play Devil's advocate all you did was trip over your own argument.

Not hard to understand. Cotton Bowl wasn’t a BCS Bowl.

To be fair it probably takes a while to proofread that.
