This missed field goal shite is getting old. Way to throw your guy under the bus Saban. All you Gumps can keep buying into Sabans missed opprtunity talk (field goals). But one day you will wake up and realize that even with "better talent at all positions except one" that Saban looses games with much better talent at every position nearly every year. Get over your best coach talk and realize he is not the second coming of the bear. Statute was a little premature if not funny and certainly not intimidating to visiting teams LSU or ULM. Just hope your recruits wake up and realize your coach is hard to like and will not stand up and take responsibility for 40+ yard field goals and wacked trick plays by all that talent.

Don't look at it as a loss. Look at it as yall quit-in overtime.

I'm basically over it, but it does sting. Especially since this has been quite possibly the shittiest year of my existence.

Sorry to hear that. I've had a rough few years, myself. Things are slowly improving, though. It's not what happens to you that matters. It's how you deal with it. There were people in concentration camps who went on to live happy lives. If they can bounce back, so can you.

Bleh, the disappointment is mostly gone for me now. I'm mostly mad now of the insane night I would had if Bama had won and that I was deprived of that.

Gotta remind yourself that at the end of the day it's just a game, and has no meaningful impact on your every day life. My life would have been equally full of fail if Bama had won as it is now after the loss.

Im also a Saints fan, and after losing to the lowly 0-6 Rams a week ago, I felt the same way you do now, then of course Sat night happened and that helped, Then Sunday we Slapped Tampa around, I was immediately healed, you will be ok

You can always try coping like secftw, and simply convince yourself that Bama won in all the important stats, and got ripped off by the refs.

I thought about doing this, but the long term effects just are not that great.

You're a wise man. Maybe you could mentor him, like a big buddy program.
