So the somewhat obvious move now is to list the most underrated player at your university and an opposing sec player.

The more you can think of for other teams, the better the thread will be. Try to keep it from the last 10 to 15 years.

In 2019 it was Terrace Marshall, dude quietly caught 12 touchdowns and could be a force in 2020.

Josh Dobbs carried Butch Jones to 9 wins two seasons in a row.

Put him at Alabama instead of Hurts and he likely wins a Heisman.

Najee Harris has been extremely under-rated by the Alabama fan base.

I think that's going to change next season though.

Butch’s record in SEC games without Josh Dobbs at quarterback: 1-18 with the lone win coming in 2013 against South Carolina

Marshall only problem has been injuries. Whereas, Clyde Edwards-Helaire waited patiently for 3 years for his moment. So as far as 2019 underrated LSU players going INTO the season, I think Clyde by a landslide.

My team: Ahmad Black - 4 year guy, productive safety in the Meyer years and one of my favorite gators. Him and Major Wright were great at S

It's funny because other teams seem to not underrate him. But Alabama fans have constantly dismissed him as being overrated since he came to Alabama.

I wouldn’t say underrated, but Josh Jacobs was probably the most underutilized player of the Saban era.

He very well could, his limiting factor is since everyone has gone Spread the heisman has honestly become a QB trophy. RBs will need to be catching passes and returning kicks and hope for a down QB year.
