Well Minnesota is 1-0 in bowl games against Alabama. I guess the gophers are clearly a dominant program now huh? You’re a fricking genius

we also had players hurt in those games, Brock, McConkey, Stetson played a season with a dislocated shoulder. Injuries are apart of the game, having to start you first game in the playoffs is a tall order.

The OSU fans I know basically just view the regular season as a warm up for the playoffs.

Just an educated guess. They have the most money and they only care about football. Even moreso than UGA fans only care about football. They have a mostly easy schedule. So yeah they will probably be in the playoffs every single year if I had to guess.

OSU has had two national championships since Florida has been relevant. You go through coaches like a baby gets a diaper change. You got no room to talk shite at all

Not worried about an extra conference game, or you guys for that matter. Hey I saw an OSU fan crowing about not blowing 27 point leads on here. Tell me, does 2 14 point leads in the same game count? Asking for, well...you. Javon Bullard says hi!

Ohio State would lose one or two games a year if they had to play competitive games every week.
Who plays competitive games every week? No elite teams.

Bullard has had five concussions already in the NFL. The hit he gave to Marv was like child’s play compared to the hits he’s been taking in the league

That’s why I would hate to see an SEC/BIG10 merger. You would get Georgia vs Purdue, Alabama vs Northwestern, A&M vs Minnesota type games peppered with an occasional descent matchup.

If you’re going the 2 league route it would be better to have teams leave their old league

Notre Dame
Ohio State
Michigan
USC
Oregon
Washington
Penn State
Wisconsin
Michigan State
Florida State
Miami
Clemson
North Carolina
Duke
Virginia
Georgia Tech

That’s a 16 team conference that could compete with the SEC. Might even be better

Just basic arse Campbell's...not even a good one, I imagine they just sit there and eat bland arse cream of mushroom soup while they ice fish in a hut on a frozen lake.

Yeah this judging of other teams scheduling is comical. Just about every team in the nation has their schedule made (opponents) 7-10 years in advance.

Sometimes the schedule ends up very weak, other times it's tough. With the expanded conferences of a few years ago, lots of adjusting had to be made by all schools.

The only time I've questioned any tOSU worthiness was during Covid. The Big 10 only played 5 or 6 games, Michigan backed out of playing tOSU, and tOSU got in the CFB playoff.

Leave tOSU out of the whining. They've proved they belong among the elite. They may not win it all this year, but they'll be a very tough out.

Fair enough. Yes, they will probably be in the playoffs every year, but the same can be said about Georgia.

However, they also recruit very well, have great fanbase support, AD support and Day seems to have figured it out. I'm not sure I would go so far as saying any one team will dominate football though, with NIL and the portal. Maybe they will, though.
