You don't think that becomes a talking point if AU goes 8-5 again? That's 5-19 at Iowa State and 24-15 at AU without Cam Newton.

Everyone hates AU because you bought a BCS championship with a rented mule, got away with it and you have a thug pos culture that's ingrained in that shithole of a town you call the plains.

A lot of it has to do with how he came about having that one good season and NC. It is the same reason people hate douchebags that drive around in a Range Rover that their dad bought them. They didn't do anything to deserve it and they sure as hell didn't do anything to warrant that elitist attitude. Watching Chizik and all the other Auburn coaches strut around like they had actually done something other than luck into a once-in-a-lifetime player, just rubs people wrong.

His COMPLETE Auburn record is what matters... Alabama has had to vacate victories, our 2010 records stand... Chizik has as many SEC championships at Auburn as Sa$an has at Bama... FACT///

Chizik's record his first three years is 30-10 with a BCSNC and an SEC Championship. That is a FACT...
Saban's official record his first three years is 28-8 with a BCSNC and an SEC Championship....
2-6 his first year (vacated wins for CHEATING)..

You can talk about Cam all you want, but he was part of the team and his record counts...

man, thank god for people like this that can make me feel normal and well adjusted. Every time my wife thinks I'm crazy on a Saturday for yelling at the TV I'm going to point her to this board so she can see how normal I am. At least I only get my panties in a wad over the team I cheer for.

You're not seeing the point. Will three 8-5 seasons be indicative of Gene Chizik's ability, along with his 5-19 record at Iowa State, or the one 14-0 season? The evidence starts to mount that maybe he coached over his head, ala Larry Coker.

I can tell you that, most expect an 8-4 type season this year... BUT we are expecting much bigger things in 2013 and 2014... That is his window... He has at least two years and he better win at least 10 games...
