O is winning in spite of Ensminger. He will regret that hire.

Ensminger is bad at football.

Ok....well, thanks for pointing it out?
I don't understand what you're trying to do.

My guess is he's trying to point it out.

ST and D are sick....our completely new O is coming along with each game. Best part about last week was how well our OL played vs that stout front 7. I think this team matches up well vs GA.

Ok, but OP said you LSU fans owe Ensminger an apology. However, it seems like LSU's reservations about Ensminger have been validated so far.

I still have reservations about Ensminger, but I'll make a couple of points here:

1) This is a brand new system with a new QB and new/green backs and wide outs. Orgeron said this week the system isn't fully in place yet, but that it's starting to open up and the coaches are just now seeing what some of these players can do in game-time situations.

2) The play-calling against AU was substantially better than it was against MIA and SELU. It wasn't always pretty or flashy, but it was effective and it kept AU's D honest on the pass. We also converted on 41% of 3rd and 4th downs, which moving the chains against a stout D like AU's (at AU no less) is a must. This was substantially better than our 3/4 down conversion rate against both MIA and SELU. I would never say MIA/SELU has a better D than AU, so it's obvious the Offense is getting better.

I'll give it some time. Aranda has come out with high praise for Ensminger on multiple occasions so we'll see.

We haven’t played games that has padded our stats like most of the country. I will reserve my opinion at this point

Yeah. That juggernaut of Southeastern Louisiana was a force to be reckoned with on defense. 15 first downs, 31 points and 335 yards for LSU in that game.

I think Ensminger is calling a decent offense. Burrow made some clutch throws, but it seems our WRs struggle getting open. He throws a lot into coverage so I don't know if he's waiting too long or the receivers just aren't getting open. I do like that we actually had quick passes against Auburn, something we haven't seen in many years.

All that said they have damn little chance against the speed and power of Georgia in that coming match. JMO.

I think we were told the same about Miami and Auburn too but I could be wrong.

Half his throws have been so far off target, even the other team can't catch them.

Uh you are so wrong. He has missed some throws by putting the ball where only our guy has a chance. Half his throws bad? I don't know what you've been watching. He has very few really bad throws.

This guy here has an unhealthy obsession with all things LSU. It’s funny and sad at the same time.

But we would beat South Carolina by 35 so what does that say about South Carolina?

Lol, we put up 31 and held them scoreless. If it wasn’t for that game we would be last in the country.

Actually, if you look at the run pass breakdown from the Auburn game it paints a much different picture compared to the miles offense

Did you watch that game? LSU ran a vanilla offense, presumably to leave Auburn little film. I think the only play LSU ran that they hadn't run in the Miami game was the Hail Mary. It seemed their prerogative was to give everyone some game reps. The days of style points are all but over, and LSU doesn't feel the need to run up the score on inferior opponents. And at least LSU shutout their cupcake. Can't say the same for either of Alabama's cupcakes, can we?

Yes you are right. A qb who has 3 career starts. Do you think we have room for improvement offensively? I bet we do

Boom.

What I love about Joe is he could give a shite what his stats are and he makes the throws when he needs to. He does what it takes to win. Once all these baby WR get into more of a grove(OL made huge strides last week)...this will be a good O.
