Isaac Gross is out for the year with a neck injury.

For a 230 lb DT he sure knows how to blow up a backfield.

Hate we won't have him for Bama but luckily we're fairly deep on the DL for once. Breeland Speaks is about to get a lot of PT.

Eta: They're saying he'll redshirt and come back next year fwiw.

Issac Gross out for the season, per UM release. He will have surgery on his neck. He will redshirt and return for a fifth year at Ole Miss.

Put this in the title and it will get un-anchored

Never like injury threads. I was hoping swag had gotten arrested.

That sucks. He's a card carrying badass. I Hate to see him have a setback like this, but as intense as he is on the field I have no doubt he'll take care of business and then some to get back.

Big loss, injuries are brutal this year and going to wreck some seasons.

It's not a season ender just because it's not on the OL. We've got bodies on DL. Can't afford any on the other side of the ball though.

I hate it for him, because he's a team leader and always kept a straight line, and to be a 230-250 nose tackle in this league is amazing.

He's so good you had to go back to 2013 for his best highlight ever!

You just showed how little you know about football. Your own Alumni ranked him as one of the top 10 DTs in the SEC.

If you watch replays, and specifically the Dline, I could almost guarantee you he is about the quickest first step DT in the league....reason he is able to play DT at 230-240 pounds. He will be missed and loved watching him play because of his quick twitch and first step.

Just saw this on my feed...

Prayers and well wishes for him. Neck injuries in football are scary dangerous.
